This poem expresses my feelings about putting my words ‘out there’.  It is one of three poems published in ‘The Poemhunter Anthology 2005 Inaugural Issue’.  It is the 1^st track on the ‘Intimately Yours’ cd with Chuck Berglund’s soundscape. 

 I still feel like this to some degree whenever I make my words public as most of my writing is very personal to me.

Black chunks

amid white streams

all shades of gray

splashes of red

of hot pink

dotted with

uneven drops

of blue

Pieces

spots

of my life

of my soul

broken - spilled

on the pavement

for all to see
