1st day 1200 calorie low glycemic index eating plan

Yesterday:

First day of 1200 calorie, low glycemic index reset eating plan – wooo hooo!!!!!

Unofficial stats (my scale in morning unclothed): 205.5 lbs. on 2/18/11 – 183.5 on 3/30/11. Lost 22 lbs. in the past 40 days.

I had hot quinoa cereal this morning with ½ cup defrosted frozen blueberries and a cup of coffee with ½ cup almond milk.  Then I had a Power Green shake for my snack.  Total calories =  225

Lunch was ½ a medium head of cooked cauliflower with ½ medium sautéed onion and 2 egg scramble (I’ve had a hankering for this for the last couple of weeks).  12 medium size almonds as my snack.  Total calories = 434.5

For dinner I had 5 oz. Mediterranean beef with 1.5 cups mixed vegetables.  Snack equaled a cup of tuna salad.  Total calories = 515

For the day:

Total calories = 1174.5

Total carbs = 75.75

Total fiber = 17.4

Total protein = 80

Total fat = 73.25

Exercise for the day (starting slow):

Core 4 (push ups – on knees; sit ups – baby; squats – with ball, cross crawls) 10 reps each

Walked 30 minutes

Today – weight per my scale 185 – gained 1 ½ lbs.

I will be increasing my exercise today – started out with Body Flex breathing exercises.
